My T shirt

This is the back of a t shirt that I have to wear to work for the month of March. It's National Colorectal Cancer Awareness Month. This is a really big, big logo on the back of my shirt. How many people can get by with wearing a shirt that says "rectal" on it? Even "cancer". "National" and "month" are OK. I wasn't around the day they ordered the shirts so some really funny person ordered a size small for me. I have never worn a small shirt....not EVER. I tried it on in the bathroom at work and I laughed and laughed and then thought that no one would even notice the word "rectal" on my shirt because it was so tight, so VERY tight that people would be looking at my totally squished boobs wondering "am I at some sort of sureal stipper type club with really old, fat stripper type ladies?? Oh my gosh, she just turned around and the back of her shirt says rectal! I hope I wake up soon from this nightmare." One of the RN's switched shirts with me and now I have a still tight size medium.

On a serious note though. If you are over 50 go get your colonoscopy. I did it. It's really easier than you think (drugs) and the peace of mind is wonderful. The most effective way to prevent colorectal cancer is early detection and the removal of precancerous polyps. Colorectal cancer ranks 3rd as the leading cause of cancer deaths for men and women. March IS National Colorectal Cancer Awareness Month.....just read my shirt.
