Where is the summer going?

I haven't blogged in ages! Keeping busy not doing much at all. I've been spending quite a bit of time in the garden which is very rewarding. My hand and back keep me from doing all I'd like to do. My latest thing (healthwise) has been the feeling that I have a golf ball in my throat that I can't get down. You might ask "why would you want to swallow a golf ball?" I DON'T. The symptoms have improved with Prilosec but the doctor still thinks it should be checked out since the symptoms came on suddenly and were so severe. So I'm having an endoscopy on Friday....sigh...... It's to rule out Barrett's esophagus for all you medical folks out there. I got a reminder call today about the appt. and the message said "be sure to eat a big turkey dinner before you come and plan on riding a bike home without a helmet". In reality I'm supposed to have nothing to eat or drink after midnight and have a designated driver. I also saw a note by my name on the desk that said "patient is very rude, she hung up on me. Use a 12 gauge needle for her IV". Yes, I'm having the endo at my place of employment by people I work with. How do you think that will go?
